PBIC Policy and Requesting Equipment

Equipment Policy

All equipment is loaned on the understanding that the project manager will arrange the retrieval of the equipment in the event of a major earthquake in Southern California that warrants a Rapid Array Mobilization Procedure (RAMP).

Priority is given to:

Every effort is made to provide projects with all the equipment they need. However, the limited quantity of equipment in the PBIC sometimes forces us to adjust the amount of equipment given to certain projects. Every effort is made to satisfy the needs of as many projects as possible.

The PBIC also provides technical and maintenance support for seismic equipment from other SCEC member institutions.

Requesting Equipment

Equipment requests should be directed to Aaron Martin via email or phone. I am hoping to add in a CGI form of some type in the future.
